Salinas DUI Arrest of Commercial Driver - No license Suspension

Posted by Phillip Crawford | Jan 08, 2024

Commercial (Class A license) driver stopped by police minutes after leaving a bar and was arrested for DUI.  He was not driving a commercial vehicle at the time.

He took five breath tests, with results of: 0.08, 0.11, 0.10, 0.09, and 0.09.

He faced  three years of informal probation, jail time or work alternative, loss of his commercial driver's license for at least one years, fines and fees of over $2000, a suspended license, and the three month alcohol education program (DUI class).

We won his DMV hearing and settled his court case for a "wet reckless."  He received one year of informal probation, no jail time or work alternative program, no suspension of his class A license, reduced fines and fees, and a 12-hour DUI class.
